What is more important for your kid/s this summer? Sun-tan at water resorts or being spiritually fortified at our beloved Mother Mahalasa Narayani’s feet? And bathe in the pure Ganga-like Guru-Shishya parampara and emerge a wise, pure, devout human being whose life is dedicated to the Lord…

Over the years, many loving and caring parents have sent their children, both boys and girls, to the Pooja Vidhi and Samskar camp held annually at Shri Mahalasa Narayani Devi Kshetra at Harikhandige.

This year, the camp is being held from May 7, 2015 to May 24, 2015.

The children are imparted lessons in performing daily poojas like the shodshopchar poojas, Yagnopavita Dharana Vidhi, reciting shlokas and stotras like Ganapati Atharvashirsha, Vishnu Sahasranama, various Sooktas, Surya Namaskaar, inculcating our basic samskaars and so on. Also the importance of Sevas to Guru, God, teachers and parents.

This year, a spiritually charged atmosphere will envelop the entire Kshetra, especially as the Ati Vishnu Maha Yaaga is taking place, where scores of learned and respected vaidiks and priests from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa will be taking part. The children will be encouraged to assist the vaidiks when required.

This is a residential camp where food and stay are also provided free of cost.

Even those adults, who want to refresh their memories or learn things afresh, are welcome to join. Even parents can join their children during the camp, if they so wish.

For many, it will be a summer holiday with a difference. A real difference.

That too, at a scenic and beautiful spiritual resort/retreat!

All participants will be encouraged to take part in other activities like planting saplings, keeping the Kshetra campus clean along with vaidiks and priests where work is also considered as the ultimate form of worship.

The entire training is provided by a learned vaidik.

The most revered Guruji Shri Suresh J Pai will also interact extensively with the participants, and spend exclusive time with them every day.

Over the years, children and many adults from Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra have participated in the camps and have benefited immensely.

It is not compulsory that the boy having already gone an Brahmopadesam or the thread ceremony, but will be ideal for such boys.
